I got a thing in the mail that I’ve won a free cruise for two. I know that it’s really about trying to get you to buy a time-share, that doesn’t bother me (not about to buy something like that someplace I’ll never go!). I know that I have to pay $59 per person for taxes, etc. What it doesn’t tell me is how much the port charges (not included) are. That is what’s making me suspicious. It’s Nassau City with a stop at Atlantis or Cable Beach.
So has anyone here taken one of these “free” cruises? What’s it really like? What do these shore excursions wind up costing? If I was to go do this thing, how deep in my pockets would it really get? I’d appreciate hearing from anybody with relevant experience or information. Serious answers, please. Thanks!

I have been there 3 times in a row when i was 17, 18, and 19. I wanna get some more insiders tip on how to get discounts or free activities, Like this one place told us if we went to a time share meeting in the crack of the morning and stay there and listen to some guy talk about this new property and trying to get us to buy the time share, that we would get the jungle tour for free. SOOO we did that and it was the coolest thing ever, i plan on doing the Jungle tour like EVERYDAY LOL. But i would like to know what other cool things i could do with out spending like too much $$$. im not gunna go parasailing due to that accident back in the days. soo scratch that off…..
Bunjee Jumping EHHHH i’ll think about it..
but anyways i like doing kayakin and boat stuff and well snorklin was a hell of an experience for me, never thought i would have a phobia with HUGE FISH around me…. and i really dont plan on doing that EVER AGAIN. lol So yes Plz any tips? Are you going to cancun mar.19
Jungle tour is when you go on a little boat, usually a group of like 3 or 4 and they take you thru like this water road and then they go to a spot where they park and snorkle in an area and well thats the part i got freaked out so i cant tell you if it was pretty or not, all i saw was a bunch of HUGE scarry big fish and i scream and UGH it was just crazy, but you will love it. ITS AWESOME
My husband and I have been trying to sell ours for years. We’ve tried Timeshares Only and Jared Ryan Properties with no luck. (Not to mention he’s been trying to sell it since before we met so I don’t know who else he’s tried.) Anyway, we aren’t trying to make money on it, we just want sell it for a reasonable amount. If there is anyone who has sold theirs or has any info that would be useful I would appreciate it. Thanks
March 15 2010 it’s moving to Palm Beach and will be traveling to the Grand Bahamas Island instead of Nassau, we just took the cruise to Nassau Feb 17 2010 had a great time and this was a time share package thru Ramada Resorts, Imperial Majesty and Caribbean Cruise Lines all the same people and same address how do i know because i bought a package thru each one and six of us just went on the trip. Had a great time, i priced it out individually and thru the packages we did the trip for less than half the price. Bought a time share 5 min’s from Port Everglades not a high priced one but a resale for dirt cheap with 3 weeks every year. Can’t wait till next year.
yes it not the oasis of the seas but for price it was well worth it. and yes we went looking for a time share but didn’t buy their expensive one we bought one for under $5000 with 3 weeks every year and that my friend is a good deal.
Looking for a good way to travel and to take long weekends in our area (Northwest). Is Trendwest a good group? What are some companies to look at? What are some to avoid? Is there a good after market?
